The final preliminary round was fished last Sunday for the Dutch Championship Fly Fishing, in preparation for the final next weekend. It was a belly boat competition on the big fly-fishing lake of the Berenkuil.
The participants did not have an easy time with the rain showers and sometimes strong winds. The contest was won with clear figures by Peter Elberse who managed to land nine trout, more than double of the numbers two and three.
