From the 12th until and including the 14th of January 2024, the gates of the “Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord” will be open again for the Angelmesse Duisburg!
More than 70 exhibitors are looking forward to your visit with a wide range of products from all areas of angling. Fly fishing is also a strong area in Duisburg – meet up at the large fly casting pool!
Traditionally, many prominent anglers can be found in the hall. The high-quality lecture programme is complemented by workshops and other presentations in which these professionals are active.
A lot has also happened in the catering area at the Duisburg fishing fair – you can look forward to culinary experiences according to the motto: “Unbelievably good and still cheap”!
Right by the fly casting pool, everything revolves around fly casting and tying. Under the guidance of Frank Fuchs you will meet some great fly tyers from EFFA, nice conversations are guaranteed! Groot Rotterdam will also be there with three tyers. Theo Matschewsky is another specialist who can also be found on stand 64 at EFFA. Theo is a rod builder and specialises in modifying fishing rods to get the best out of them. Theo will be bringing a measuring system to the stand, where interested fly fishers can have their rods tested free of charge. This means you can find out how close your rod is to the optimum – or not.
The companies Finest Fly Fishing, A & M Fishing Tackle, Andy`s Fliegenkiste and Fliegenfischerschule Wilmers will also be offering tackle, tying materials and lots of accessories on their large stands. Fly fishing hearts are guaranteed to beat faster here!

As usual, there will be a large casting pool in the hall where some masters of fly fishing will demonstrate their skills.
