The area for all fly fishing and angling enthusiasts will move to the brighter Hall 8 in 2024 and, under the motto “Enthusiasm for fishing”, will not only offer the return of the fly fishing pool with excellent casters and experts, but also a new workshop line where visitors can expand their knowledge of fly tying, among other things.

 

 

Heavyweights of the fishing scene, such as Torsten Ahrens, Michael Komuczki, Rudy van Duijnhoven, Veit Wilde and Tobias Leister, will be sharing their expertise on the “Wissensdrill” stage. The dedicated culinary area offers the opportunity to sample delicious fish dishes.

 

 

“By reorganising the fishing area this year, we are responding to the wishes of the exhibitors and creating even more incentives for visitors to immerse themselves in the world of fishing,” says Andreas Ott, Head of Operations.

 

 

“Die Hohe Jagd & Fischerei” will take place from 22 to 25 February 2024 at the Messe Salzburg.
