The double-handed fly casting course –  the Highlight after the EWF 2025. Directly after the EWF 2025, the annual double-handed course will take place for the 17th time.

 

 

This year, the course will once again take place with the two instructors Tom Brown from Scotland and Thomas Urbig from Germany!

He was the first to know what the EWF was all about!

Gerd-Peter Wieditz from Germany was at the very first meeting in 2005 when the first EWF was planned. To this day, more than 20 years later, he is still an important source of ideas, sparring partner and closest friend!

 

 

In addition, everyone knows him as a fly tyer, rod maker, book author, collector and always open to new ideas and exciting conversations. We are delighted that Gerd-Peter will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the EWF with us this year on 5 and 6 April.

 

 

Come to his tying table in the Tenne and be inspired by the Bavarian fly patterns he ties, which are up to 500 years old.

The Event Forum Fürstenfeld will, for the twentieth time, be the international meeting point for fly fishermen and -women. After a great many successful expositions, the EWF will open its doors in April 2025.
