This July Sportfish is launching Sportfish Rivers Month to get as many people as possible helping to improve the health of the UK rivers.

Over 513,000 sewage spills were recorded last year in UK rivers, for more than 4 million hours. None of England’s rivers meet good chemical status and only 14% of rivers meet good ecological health standards. Healthy rivers support fish, wildlife, and local communities. Together, we can help protect them.
