With fresh enthusiasm and creative ideas, the organisers of the Experience the World of Fly Fishing (EWF) are currently working on relaunching the EWF for 2026. In addition to a new, modern logo, the website will soon be shining in new splendour, marking a promising step into the future of this traditional event.

The 21st EWF will be held on the 18th and 19th of April, 2026, in Fürstenfeldbruck! A few of the new and familiar faces that will be at this major fly fishing fair:

A fantastic caster who has already trained countless fly fishers will show us the techniques of the Scandinavian style at the pool.

 

 

He has been an enthusiastic fisherman and fly tier since childhood, with a focus on salmon and sea trout. He prefers to tie very small salmon flies, which are truly impressive. Sigurberg looks forward to meeting you at his fly tying bench on stage at the Stadtsaal.

 

 

Last year she attended as a visitor for the first time, and this year Miren from Spain – also known as Miren Loops – will be participating at the EWF Casting Pool for the first time, demonstrating her techniques and methods of single hand fly fishing with her charming and cheerful manner.
