The Event Forum Fürstenfeld in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich will be the centre of the fly fishing world again on the 18th and 19th of April, 2026. This week some more participants were announced:

 

 

Chat with Jan de Haas about the best hobby in the world. He has lots of tips and tricks up his sleeve that he is happy to share with others. We look forward to meeting him at the EWF again.

 

 

He is known as an absolute dry fly purist, and even a streamer has to be on the surface with him. We look forward to his entertaining and informative fly casting demo.

 

 

John is a passionate salmon fisher and an enthusiastic tyer of beautiful salmon flies, and he wants to share his passion for fly tying with us. A warm welcome!

 

 

For Niklaus, fly fishing is not just a hobby, it is a lifestyle. We are delighted to have the Vision World team member back on board.

 

 

The Norwegian, who has worked at Guideline since 2006, is a passionate fly tyer of dry flies for trout fishing. In addition to tying and fly fishing, Rune Andre has written numerous articles and has been working as a casting and fly tying instructor for many years.

 

 

He is been fishing for ages, but fly fishing and fly tying for less than ten years. Despite this, this young talent managed to win first place in the dry fly category at the German Open Fly Tying Championship in 2025. We are incredibly excited to have this up-and-coming fly tyer with us!

The Event Forum Fürstenfeld will, for the twentieth time, be the international meeting point for fly fishermen and -women. After a great many successful expositions, the EWF will open its doors in April 2026.
