2026 Fly Fishing Show Back At Alameda County Fairgrounds

Gary Borger, Mac Brown, Glenda Powell, Philip Rowley, Landon Mayer, Tim Flagler, George Revel, Matt Heron, John Sherman and Whitney Gould are among the class instructors, demonstrators, and seminar leaders at the annual Pleasanton Fly Fishing Show, Feb. 27-March 1 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Fri.; 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sat; and 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sun. Fly Fishing Show® admission is $20 for one day, $35 for two days and $45 for three. Children under age 5 are free as are Boy and Girl Scouts under age 16 in uniform. Children 6-12 are $5. Active military with an ID are $10. The show includes 17 classes with the sport’s experts. Class tuition is $100 except for an 8-hour advanced casting class jointly conducted by Dr. Borger and Brown a day before the show opening, Thurs., Feb. 26. Registration is $625. Standard classes include everything from basic beginner casting to a master class on nymphing.

The 2026 International Fly Fishing Film Festival will make its California debut Feb. 27 at 5:30. Film Festival seats are $17 in advance or $20 at the door.
