The Event Forum Fürstenfeld in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich will be the centre of the fly fishing world again on the 18th and 19th of April, 2026. This week some more participants were announced:
She is a well-known fly fisherwoman in Great Britain who is particularly committed to promoting fly fishing among children and women. She leads workshops for beginners and advanced learners, young people and women at various events. The organisers of the EWF are therefore particularly pleased that Lucinda will be taking over the women’s programme and will also be giving casting demonstrations at the EWF pool on both days.
The affable fly fisherman Christian Kölle from Germany will present his fly patterns live on the stage in the town hall. In addition to fly tying, he will also be enthusiastically discussing rod building and fishing for trout, grayling, and pike!
Tying wet flies has been a part of his life since childhood, but fly fishing has been his passion for about five years. A long-time coastal angler, he now focuses primarily on fly fishing English rivers. He will demonstrate his enthusiasm for tying nymphs and dry flies through his samples and share many tips and tricks with EWF visitors.
The organisers are delighted to welcome Eberhard Scheibe from Germany, who will demonstrate the original method of fly fishing by the pool. He has been practising Tenkara for over 15 years and can offer tips and advice to anyone interested. Eberhard will also be tying his special Tenkara flies on stage.
Luka Jezovšek from Slovenia, who has been tying flies and fly fishing all his life, is a multiple medal winner and now enthusiastically teaches his children fly tying and fishing. We are very happy to have this friendly and passionate fly tier with us.
He will explain the physics behind fly casting and give tips on how to improve your individual casting style.
After getting to know the two likeable talents, Erin and Alex, at last year’s EWF, they immediately planned their return to the 21st EWF on 18 and 19 April 2026. Erin enchants with her special fly tying demonstrations on social media, while Alex inspires with his technical implementation of videos and photos. The EWF looks forward to welcoming them back to the Atlantic Salmon Trust stand and are already excited to see what they have in store for us.

The Event Forum Fürstenfeld will, for the twentieth time, be the international meeting point for fly fishermen and -women. After a great many successful expositions, the EWF will open its doors in April 2026. Preparation is in full swing!
