Fly fishers from 97 year old retired Penn State coach Joe Humphreys to toddlers being pushed in strollers by wide-eyed parents are expected at this weekend’s Fly Fishing Show at the Lancaster County Convention Center.

The March 14-15 show is a pot-pourri of 2026 fly fishing products, how-to-do-it classes, seminars, demonstrations, door prizes, and Adventure Theater films. Hours are 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Sat; and 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sun. Fly Fishing Show® admission is $20 for one day and $35 for both days. Children under age 5 are free as are Boy and Girl Scouts under age 16 in uniform. Children 6-12 are $5. Active military with an ID are $10.

 

 

There is approximately $100,000 in national door prizes plus another $10,000 in local prizes up for grabs. Prizes include fly-fishing tackle, watercraft and fishing trips to Alaska, Central and South America.
