At the fly casting pool, children and young people can familiarise themselves live with the technique of fly casting and get to know the equipment used for this.

 

 

Adrian Hauser and his team will support the kid’s fly casting programme! At the large tying table in the barn, young people can familiarise themselves with the materials, patterns and techniques of fly tying. There will also be a competition to see who can tie the most beautiful ‘EWF bug or insect fly, everything that crawls and flies in and around the water’. Lara Schreiber and her team will support the kid’s fly tying programme!

The Event Forum Fürstenfeld will, for the twentieth time, be the international meeting point for fly fishermen and -women. After a great many successful expositions, the EWF will open its doors in April 2026. Preparation is in full swing!
