Important note for people that want to visit this event: due to a closure this weekend of the highway A73 in the direction of Venlo (between Nijmegen and Cuijk), it is for people coming from the north and the west of The Netherlands best to follow the A15 and A325 in the direction of Nijmegen. Just after the bridge across the river Waal, take a right turn in the direction of Kleve and than follow your navigation again to the Borschelstrasse 10, Bedburg-Hau near Kleve.
Finest Flyfishing is a major fly-fishing shop and webshop which is situated close to the German-Dutch border. This year, for the fifth time, it organises the NFFT, the Niederrheinische Fliegenfischertag.
In the tent which is added to the large scale shop one can find flytiers like Hans van Klinken and John Elbers tying flies with Semperfli materials. Günni Sareyka ties flies for barbel, Sacha Pütz ties his wonderfull salmon flies and Andy Weiß will be busy tying his special pike streamers.
Peter Joest, Jay Lee, John Peters and Gerrit van Ee will be demonstrating fly-tying here as well and more people could be added to the list at a later moment, Finest Flyfishing is still active putting the programm together.
Sven Ostermann and Rudy van Duijnhoven will be present tot do fly-casting demonstrations and instructions, Thosten Strüben will demonstrate casting with light weight switch and twohanded flyrods. Next to that there will be presentations by author Leon Janssen, Elmar Elfers (on brook trout), Günni Sareyka (barbel) and Rudy van Duijnhoven (flyfishing for blue shark).
Thies Reimers (Orvis) and Brian Størup (Guideline) will present new products for the 2017 season, Elmar Elfers is present for the German magazine “Fisch und Fliege”.
The show will be open from 10.00 hours until 17.00 hours. There will be coffee and cake available as well as German sausages.
