Kate will give fly-casting demonstrations daily as well give casting instruction to women and children. Kate will be available to answer any questions about fly-fishing for women and children. During the first years of the EWF, Kate took the initiative to introduce the sport of fly-fishing to many women and children.
Kate Blubaugh lives in Reno, Nevada, USA and is an enthusiastic fly-angler and an accomplished caster. Kate opened the doors to fly-fishing to women in her community by starting the first Reno, Nevada, fly-fishing club for women and she helped found the first women’s fly-fishing club in the Netherlands. Kate Blubaugh has been invited to Europe to demonstrate and teach fly-casting to the public at several fishing shows. Kate has published casting and fly-fishing related articles and has been featured in fishing articles in European and American fly-fishing magazines.
