Dear Bristol Bay supporters,

Monday’s Pebble mine-related news was a little confusing – is it dead? Is it delayed? To clear it up, you’re invited to join a live event, hosted on Facebook, on Friday at 9 a.m. PST/noon EST where we’ll explain what happened, what it means, and where we go from here.

The short story: the Army Corps of Engineers announced that Pebble, as it is currently proposed, cannot get its most important federal permit. This is a major milestone in our efforts to protect Bristol Bay!

While we celebrate, we know our work isn’t done, and Pebble isn’t dead yet. Join our “#HuntFishStopPebble Debrief” on Friday morning (8/28) to get the download on what Monday’s news means and what we can do to stop Pebble once and for all.
