Sunray Fly Fish is exhibiting at booth 586 with Northern Sports at this weeks ICAST-IFTD Show. They have their micro thin fly line submitted for the New Product showcase. These lines are being licensed to brands worldwide now. Finally the industry has taken note that Sunray’s micro thin technology is actually the most important innovation to happen in 30 years.
Here is some info on the line: Designed by Stuart Crofts, competitor in six World Fly Fishing Championships and six European Championships. Stuart was Captain of the gold medal winning England Rivers Home International Team in June 2000.
MICRO THIN RANGE
The Micro Thin fly lines are 20-30% thinner than regular PVC lines. They use a solid monofilament core. Micro thin fly line coatings are faster / more energy efficient than regular PVC lines.
Fast coatings = high line speed.
Fast coatings = accuracy.
Fast coatings = greater rod load.
27′ head. Non-flash coating. For rods 9′ and under.
#1 #2 #3 #4 weights.
Correctly loads rods 9′ and under for smaller rivers.
When low disturbance, French Leader style presentation is required.
Use with either level tippet or tapered leaders with butt diameter 0.30mm.
