Newman wins O’Malley Cup, Stenson wins Sleator Cup on Ennell

Michael Flanagan from Midland Angling reports on Lough Ennell’s O’Malley Cup: Over 30 anglers lashed out across Lough Ennell last Sunday September 25th for the O’Malley Cup fly fishing competition. Conditions were quite good with plenty of early morning rain, clearing later, and a nice breeze at times kept the boats drifting along. On the day I teamed up with Ciaran Newman of Lynncross and we had a lovely day out on Ennell. Naturally made all the sweeter as Ciaran boated a cracking trout of 4.814lbs.
