Smoky Mountains Fly Fishing Festival October 8

Bryson City, North Carolina, is the site of the 2nd Annual Smoky Mountains Fly Fishing Festival next Saturday, October 8, 2016 (between 9am – 5pm). Destined to become the “West Yellowstone of the Smokies,” the trout-wild Bryson City is celebrating the rich fly fishing heritage of western North Carolina in its downtown -– just one block away from the Delayed Harvest waters on the Tuckasegee River.

Festival vendors will be set up next to Bryson City’s Train Depot on Frye Street to display and demonstrate all types of fly fishing equipment. The event will feature fly rod demonstrations, fly tying, displaces of local flies as well as a chance to see the latest in outdoor adventure apparel and accessories.
