Wholesale company Arca presented several new products for the fly-fisher for the coming season in their showroom in Linden near Leuven in Belgium this month.
The hi-carbon Vintage Fly rods are available in two and four piece, in lengths of 7’6”, 8’6” and 9 foot, for line classes #5, 6 and 7.
The parabolic top section makes for precize and long casts, the ergonomic grip of quality cork holds a lightweight reelholder. Strengthened ferrules, epoxy coating.
Arca also distributes the products of Trabaucco in the Benelux. New in this range are the Loomis & Franklin fly-rods. There are twelve different, four piece IM7 models for different fishing methods and circumstances.
The Small Creek versions are 7’6”, 8’ and 8’6” long for line classes #3, 4 and 5. The two River & Stream rods are 9 feet long for line classes #4-5 and 5-6. There is a 9’6” Streamer version for line class # 6. The two 10 feet long Nymph rods are made for the line classes #3 and 4. The 10’ and 10’6” Stillwater version will cast line classes #7-8.
There are two Switch rods in this series as well, 11’ and 11’6” long for line classes #7 and 8. All rods are delivered in a solid rod case.
There are also three series of Loomis & Franklin fly-reels to complement the fly-rods.
The lightweight Guide Master ADC is available in two versions for line classes #3/4 and 5/6.
The lightweight aluminium Guide Master XLT offers a high line speed when reeling in.
It comes in four versions for line classes #3/4 up to 7/8.
The spool of the Guide Master HBC fly-reels has a V-form so it can hold more backing.
The three models in the range have a strong drag-system, for lineclasses #3/4 up to 7/8.
