The VNV, the Dutch Federation of Flyfishers, introduces on Saturday the 4th of March, during Visma 2017 in Rotterdam Ahoy’, a new app. This app is a great tool for fly-fishers in the Dutch language.
Fly-fishers know that insect are an important source of food for fish. But what insect are to be found along the waterside? And which imitation should I use to represent it? Put down what you see and the answer appears on your screen. Whether the insect is to be found below, above or alongside the surface of the water. And you will know right away as well what pattern you need to use.

The insects that you will come across most often are to be found in here. This combined with over 500 artificial flies of which tying instructions or a movie of tying the pattern can be looked into.

A “must-have” for both the newcomer and the experienced fly-fisher.

The official introduction will take place on Saturday the 4th of March at 11.00 hours at the stand of the VNV, stand number 54.

The app is developed by the VNV and was made possible among others by Sportvisserij Nederland. For more information in the Dutch language: www.vnv.nu/vliegvinder.
