Platinum Extreme and Platinum Stealth Flylines by Greys

Greys Fishing recently introduced two floating flylines which are great additions to the armada off the reservoir and seatrout flyfisher. The lines feature an ultra low memory and a smooth, slick finish.

The Platinum Stealth Flyline has a long head of 45 feet in total (WF7F), the overall length is 90 feet. The long belly line makes for long, effortless casting under most circumstances on fresh- and saltwater.

The subtle, dual stealth colour will not spook fish and is still an aid when casting. The line has a finely tuned taper for a perfect balance between power and presentation, it is also easy to lift of the surface of the water.

The Platinum Extreme has a much shorter head of 38 feet (WF7F), this line is even 120 feet long in total. The shorter head makes this line easier to cast in windy conditions, like we often come across in open water situations.

The dual colour with highly visible running line makes it easy to shoot the line at the right moment. The modified taper and overall low diameter makes this line ideal for effortless distance casting.

Both lines are supplied with two braided loops which can be slid onto both ends of the flyline and than glued in place. Once I have had the chance to test these lines under different circumstances, I will write here some more on the experiences with casting and fishing these flylines.
