Fly fishing fairy tales came true for two show debutants at IFTD Best Product Awards in the Orange County Convention Centre, Orlando. Stealth Fly Products, which launched its new hooks only seven months ago, and Fair Flies Composite Brushes, stepped up to the podium to collect their awards in front of a packed ‘party on the pool’.

A closer look at the new hooks:

Curved Hooks
‘C‘ series

Simply the best fish holding hook ever made! When we set out to design the ‘C’ series STEALTH hook, we had one goal in mind… Create the ultimate black curved hook that has the form to imitate a wide variety of emergers, caddis pupa, sow bugs and shrimp, and the function of holding fish better than any other hook made. This hook is a home run!

Dry Fly Hooks
‘D‘ series

Our light wire black dry fly hook with an ultra sharp hook point. The ‘D’ series dry fly hook uses TRUFORM Hook Geometry ensuring that the gape and shank length of each size is anatomically accurate to the dimensions and proportions of the natural insects that the fly fisherman imitates. STEALTH ‘D’ series dry fly hooks are available in sizes 6 – 22 with a bonus size 11 that became necessary for imitating certain caddis, mayflies and stoneflies.

Nymph Hooks
‘N‘ series

A heavy wire black nymph hook with an ultra sharp hook point. The ’N’ series nymph Hook uses TRUFORM Hook Geometry ensuring that the gape and shank length of each size is anatomically accurate to the dimensions and proportions of the natural insects that the fly fisherman imitates. STEALTH ‘N’ series nymph hooks are available in sizes 2 – 18 with a bonus size 3 that became necessary for tying certain stoneflies, steelhead/salmon flies and streamers.

Every package of hooks includes a removable magnetic insert making them super easy to use and incredibly efficient.
