ECHO has announced a new reel and a couple of new rods for 2018.
According to ECHO, “The ECHO Bravo reel features our new saltwater-certified Pit Stop drag system, allowing tool-free access to the reel’s carbon fiber disc drag system so you can keep salt where it belongs: on the rim of a margarita glass. The reel’s extra-large arbor and low startup inertia round out your new favorite fish-taming machine.” Having seen this reel in Orlando at IFTD, it is clear that anglers will welcome this well-priced reel to their collection.
The Swing switch and Spey rods will cost $249.99 and will be available in 6, 7, and 8 weight models. And for fiberglass fans, the Bad Ass Glass promises to be “faster, lighter, and more powerful than ‘glass has ever been.”
For $249.99, ECHO states that the new Traverse Kit “is built with serious anglers in mind and includes everything you need to land the spookiest fish. The aluminum ION reel features an extra-smooth drag and large arbor for quick retrieves. Rounding out the package, the Traverse comes spooled with a premium Airflo fly line.”
