During a press conference on Monday the 22nd of January at the largest water-sport show of Europe, boot Düsseldorf, Mercury Marine introduced several new (outboard) engines plus a number of other tools for people fishing on the water.

Thomas Kubitz, who also paints numerous subjects around fly-fishing, has a stand for the first time in many years at boot Düsseldorf. The Nautische Unie is one of the companies that was present again with specific predator boats at boot Düsseldorf. The new Crestliner 1750 Bass Hawk is a “bass boat” with casting platforms which can easily manoeuver through the waves due to the deep V-hull.

Interesting especially for sport-fishing is the introduction of new 15 and 20 Hp outboard engines by Mercury Marine.
The range of digital VesselView screens is expanded with larger models.
The range of Sea Pro outboard engines is expanded with a lighter 15 Hp model.
The Sportfishing Center at boot Düsseldorf, where presentations and demonstrations are held every day, is also the place where Moritz Freudenthal is preparing fishy meals every day with visitors to the show.
Swat Fishing now also distributes shallow water anchors like they are used in the USA a lot.
The Wetton 56 by Wetton Craft is almost surely the first inflatable boat for which a trailer is no longer necessary.
The wheels appear from under the boat whenever the boat needs to be transported across the road.
