Cortland’s new Trout Boss DT is an exciting new version of a double taper line. The line was designed with an aggressive front taper providing excellent turnover when using nymphs, dries, wet flies or streamers. While the long belly feature of the double taper is ideal for increased control of roll casts, mending and casting greater distances.
Trout Boss DT lines feature Cortland’s HTX line finish, incorporating extreme slickness additives into the surface of the line, keeping a low friction coefficient and protecting the line from dirt. Finished with dual welded loops for easy connecting of backing and leaders.
