Thermo-WADE agrees distribution deal in Denmark

Thermo-WADE, the maker of the world’s first temperature-sensitive wading stick and associated accessories, has secured a distribution deal that will see its products sold in Denmark.

The agreement with Anders Lørgensen, a wholesaler and travel company owner trading as Green Grass Travel, was rubberstamped at the EFTTEX trade show, which took place in Brussels last month.

The Scandinavian company has taken the full range of Thermo-WADE products, including the River SENSE temperature monitor, which was launched at the show. Thermo-WADE founder, Micheal Commons, told Angling International: “All distribution deals where suppliers take on our products are highly valued and taken with respect. We are building the brand one brick at a time to allow us to consider the needs of our customers, unlike some powerful suppliers that have the resources to hoover up as many customers they can all at once, but then lack the aftercare needed to adequately service their requirements.”

He added that Europe is the young company’s top priority as an export market. “We are currently in six countries in the region so there is still plenty of work for us to do. We have also recently appointed a supplier in the US. Our business across the Atlantic is in its infancy and our focus in the region is offering support as its finds its legs in such a big market.”
