Farlows to reopen after ‘longest’ closure in 180-year history

Farlows has announced the reopening of its flagship Pall Mall, London store following what is believed to be the longest closure in its 180-year history.

The heritage brand was forced to close the doors at the Pall Mall venue for five months following the onset of COVID-19 in March. It will reopen on Monday, September 7th.

Farlows CEO Robin Philpott said: “We have supplied, entertained and informed our customers so very well online since we closed. But with the start of a new season, the launch of new fieldwear collections, including a new Farlows range, and the ability to offer a safe retail space, we are delighted to be able to deliver our unique staff expertise and extensive product collections in-store once again.”

COVID-safe precautions

The decision to return to the high street has been taken following a deep clean and the installation of COVID-safe precautions.
Customer numbers will be monitored and store access may, at times, be limited. Additionally, access to certain areas will be restricted and there will be no changing facilities available.
