The Laxa I Kjos river in Iceland is rapidly gaining a reputation for monster sea trout in its famous Meadows. These stunning fish can be caught on dry fly and tiny nymphs during July and August and are almost becoming more prized than its prolific salmon run. In this video Peter McLeod hunts one of these lies and hooks into on of Kjos’s monsters which leads him on a merry chase up and down the river. The 80cm fish puts him through a fantastci batle before being carefully released to continue on its journey.
