In the previous four issues the We are fly fishing magazine focused on the fly-fishing possibilities Europe has to offer. In the span of a single year the magazine visited no less than 21 countries and they met well-nigh 40 European fly anglers; each with their own vision on fly-fishing and with their own story to tell.
In this double size issue of Europe 5, which is – for now – the final issue about Europe, the magazine would like to take you to: Poland – Norway – Slovenia – Greenland and Swedish Lapland.

Would you happen to have any knowledge or experience on the Noris 216 Stabil bamboo Fly Rod. I just recently purchased one and am looking for any information links on this rod that was manufactured in Germany.

The label on the bag says, “‘Noris’ Fischereigeräte” and “Qualitätserzeugnisse” which translated are “‘Noris’ Fishing Equipment” and “Quality Products.”
I found this online (translated from German): Built by NORIS Fischerei-Geräte G.m.b.H. Nürnberg. Founded in 1875, Noris advanced over the years before WWII to become one of the most highly thought of manufacturers of angling equipment in Germany. The company would become best known after the 1920s for their high-quality fly fishing products. Making split-cane rods was a major part of their business.
