New US-made G3 wader is ‘most technical ever’ says Simms CEO

The latest iteration of the Simms Fishing Products G3 Wader – first introduced 20 years ago – won’t be available until January next year, but the company CEO Casey Sheahan couldn’t resist alluding to the new version when talking about its policy to manufacture onshore.

“Making something you perceive as the best even better is never easy, and that’s exactly what we are up against in revamping a wader such as the G3,” he said. “It’s critical that the improvements we make are going to be immediately recognised by anglers. The latest G3 Guide Wader is the most technical and durable of the series, following two decades of design and development.”

Believing that nothing celebrates American industry like keeping production on home soil, the Montana company completes every step of its wader operation under one roof.

“Having such a talented team right here in Bozeman not only allows us to make adjustments on the fly, but also to test those adjustments right then and there,” added Sheahan. “The devil is in the detail and with our on-site manufacturing facilities we have the advantage of being able to pay extra close attention to every detail, every step of the way.”
