Tying a NED FLY for Perch/Bass (with Floating Tip)

The Ned Rig is one of the most effective rigs/styles for bass, perch and other predatory fish and in this fly tying tutorial, Daniel Bergman from Fly-Dressing shows us how to tie a Ned Fly.

Ned the Worm Fly – A super fun worm pattern to fish slow when Perch are picky and not super active, but it can also be jigged home more active. The “popped” up tail makes the fly pulsate in a seductive way even when not stripped home at all. Make sure to keep as much contact as possible with the fly since the takes can be very careful.
