Scandi Launch is easier to cast than traditional Scandi or long belly lines and is the perfect addition for your summer steelhead or your Atlantic salmon. If you are new to the Scandi world, the Scandi Launch is the perfect line to learn the ways of the single Spey and hone your two-handed skills. More advanced Spey anglers will find this line to be an extremely fun and versatile addition to their shooting head collection.
The Scandi Launch was meticulously developed for two purposes. First, to make it easy to cast. Second, to delicately deliver flies when quiet presentations are needed. The specific series of tapers concentrates weight at the back of the head, putting more weight in the D loop—making it easier to load the rod.
Additionally, front taper and tip diameters have been individually refined for each line to ensure a soft delivery. The Scandi Launch is ideal for fishing a tapered nylon leader or a light VersiLeader.
