During the early fishing for the large silver-shiny salmon and sea trout, the flies should be of considerable size and with bright colours in order to attract attention. One of the skilled fishermen at the legendary river Mørrum in southern Sweden is Magnus Olsson, who has created this eye-catching fly in slightly untraditional colours – but the colours work on the fish and they love it. In this video we have had the skilled fly fisherman, fly tyer and owner of the local Fish Shop Stefan Enevoldsen behind the vise to demonstrate the tying of Magnus’ Fluo Madness or Hubbi Bubbi as it is also called.
