From the 10th until the 12th of September the European international trade show EFTTEX was held in Brussels. The new products to be seen there, in the field of fly fishing, most certainly made it worth the visit.

Under the brand FlyPower Barone Sport from Italy introduced a wide range of fly fishing leaders.

Wiley X was present with a stand at the EFTTEX and showed all of their models for fly fishing, including some of the newest models.

The Alphacode by Mustad, introduced for their Heritage Fly Hooks, makes it easy to select the right hook for your flies at a glance. The packages are colour coded for streamer, dry fly, nymph/caddis, salmon/steelhead and saltwater hooks, the Alphacode shows the shape, strength, length, type of eye, what type of hook point and the finish the hooks have.

Snowbee had a wide range of products to show, their new fly rods and fly lines could be cast at the fly casting pool of the EFTTEX.

There are fly lines specifically for making different roll casts, floating, neutral density, intermediate and sink tip fly lines. A range worth taking into consideration.

Snowbee also showed several new landing nets, a fly reel kit that consists of a fly reel plus two extra spools that are already filled with a floating, intermediate and sinking fly line plus leader and backing.

 

The clothing range is extended.

The clothing range is extended with new breathable waders, wading boots and regular boots with spikes, technical socks and shirts, Graphene Thermal Jackets which are warm and comfortable to wear, the Classi Wide-Brim Hats have side poppers so you can fasten the sides of the hat, there is a new Snowbee Trucker Cap, there is a new All-Season Fly Vest and All Season Fishing Gloves. The Stainless Steel Angled Snips stand at an angle for better and easier cutting.

The EFTTEX show will move to Barcelona next year, it will be held again in September. The name EFTTEX stands for European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition.
