Fly Fishing Nation: Early March in Trentino/Italy: Rising fish, big trout, amazing food, après-fishing skiing and a wild bunch of guys! Hard to beat!

An amazing short trip to one of our favourite spots in Europe off the back of a cancelled Oman trip. With absolutely nada trout or wading equipment, I had to borrow bits and pieces from the rest of the crew. Despite tight waders and wild tackle combinations, we got it just right. The first warm weather period sent the trout feeding… and we were there for it! Here a stunner of a lake-run brown trout, tipping the scale at 7lb+ … and that was just the beginning.
