The new oval tippet rings that Stroft introduced during the Experience the World of Fly Fishing (EWF) are made of a special titan alloy for extra strength and a low weight.

The dark grey Stroft Oval Tippet Rings are available in six sizes and are sold, from the first of May 2026, in packages of ten pieces, as well as in packages with three different sizes of tippet rings.

In the different sizes, the strength is higher than stainless steel tippet rings of the same sizes, next to that they are only half as heavy as stainless steel tippet rings of the same size. Due to their oval shape, the knots will always be at the correct sides of the ring. With their low weight, the titan Stroft Oval Tippet Rings do not interfere with the presentation of the fly and can even be used for dry fly fishing whereby the leader floats on the surface.
